Evalan is looking for a versatile Project Engineer for a new position in our rapidly expanding Internet of Things (IoT) team in Amsterdam. As Project Engineer you will support our Project Managers and our Operations Manager with a variety of project management activities. This is a great opportunity for a Starter who wants to be exposed to all aspects of projects, from planning to execution to handover, and who can progressively take on Individual Responsibilities.
This is a broad, multifaceted role, in which you will join a Fast Growing Organization with a team of dedicated Professionals. In each of our projects, our Project Managers focus on planning, budget, quality and delivery of our commercial objectives. You will work closely with them and the stakeholders in other functional areas within our company. Some of our projects are delivered in cooperation with partner companies. Your responsibilities will include representing Evalan in these collaborations, and support our relationships with these partners.
Furthermore, your activities and responsibilities will progressively cover areas such as:
Schedule, track and maintain projects over varying schedules serving a wide variety of customers. Project phases include planning, estimating, design, production, installation, start-up, programming, commissioning, turnover and warranty;
Support the alignment with contractors, sub-contractors and other suppliers;
Support the coordination of material resources and vendors;
Participate in pre-bid reviews meetings;
Analyze plans, schedules, contract specifications and codes to determine project requirements;
Support the coordination of hand-over and completion of all project close-out documentation such as “as-built” drawings, program backups and system operating instructions;
Provide input to stakeholders on selecting tools to monitor, configure and maintain our systems;
Provide input to stakeholders on developing automation solutions for the installation, upgrade and testing of our systems.
Support the good execution of our workprocesses and identify risks;
Monitor and improve the quality of service and production;
Monitor the quality of shipments;
Provide input on production design, assembly and underlying components;
Maintain environmental and quality regulations;
Support the team members in determining product costs and manage these cost as part of the overall project.

A degree in engineering;
Good sense for practical implementations;
