Evalan is looking for a ‘Senior Software Engineer Embedded Systems’ to join our team of Electronics, Software, Mechanical and Industrial Design Engineers in Amsterdam.
In cooperation with various partners, Evalan is developing new mobile devices that support our remote monitoring and ‘IoT’ applications. These devices are used in Smart Buildings, Smart Machines and Healthcare applications. In this role you will work together in a multi-disciplinary team of colleagues on the development of these devices, from concept stage through pilot testing.
Specifically, you will be responsible for the development of the embedded software, as well as the implementation of this software and the test scenarios.

For this position Evalan is looking for an engineer with a University Degree, specialized in Embedded Systems, Computer Science, Technical Informatics or Electronics, who likes to get involved with new and innovative concepts. Flexibility, enthusiasm and good technical skills are important. In addition you bring the following:
Knowledge of Programming Languages such as C and C++
Knowledge of Electronics
Experience in developing software for RTOS and embedded applications
Ability to take a hands-on approach and dive into details where needed
Good oral and written communication skills with the ability to collaborate with others internally and externally
Ability to analyze quantitatively, problem-solve, and scope requirements
Ability to deliver initiatives from conception through completion in an iterative way
Ability to meet deadlines and prioritize work
Ability to develop new ideas and creative solutions
Good working knowledge of English (written and verbal)
