Evalan BV built the ARMOR app as part of the ARMOR SERVICE. This SERVICE is provided by Evalan BV commercially and is intended for use as is.
This page is used to inform visitors regarding our policies with the collection, use, and disclosure of Personal Information if anyone decided to use our Service.
If you choose to use our Service, then you agree to the collection and use of information in relation to this policy. The Personal Information that we collect is used for providing and improving the Service. We will not use or share your information with anyone except as described in this Privacy Policy.

Information Collection and Use
The app does not collect any personal data that is shared with Evalan BV or other parties. The user submitted names, collected heart rate data and calculated body core temperature and Physical Strain Index can be stored locally on the device only. The files are stored in the documents folder and can be saved, viewed and shared at the discretion of the users of the device. This information is not shared with Evalan BV or other parties.

Special permissions
The ARMOR app makes use of the following device features to provide the best user experience. These features are used exclusively for the purposes described below:
1. Camera
The camera functionality is used solely to scan QR codes on ARMOR sensor nodes. No images are stored locally or shared with Evalan BV or any other party.
2. Low-Energy Wireless Connection
The low-energy wireless connection is essential for communication between the device and ARMOR sensor nodes. The app uses this connection to receive data from the nodes, a core functionality of the app.
3. ACCESS-FINE-LOCATION
The ARMOR app requires access to precise location data to ensure the app can connect with nearby ARMOR sensor nodes. This permission allows the app to provide real-time location-based services essential for communication with the nodes.
– Location data is not stored or shared with Evalan BV or any third parties.
– Users can manage location permissions via their device settings.
4. ACCESS-BACKGROUND-LOCATION
This permission allows the ARMOR app to access location data even when the app is running in the background. This ensures that the app can maintain communication with ARMOR sensor nodes without interruption, even when the app is minimized or not actively being used by the user.
– No location data is stored or shared with Evalan BV or third parties.
– Users can manage and revoke background location access through device settings.
5. FOREGROUND-SERVICE-LOCATION
The app uses this permission to continue accessing location services while running in the foreground. This ensures that location-based communication with ARMOR sensor nodes remains active and uninterrupted while the app is in use.
6. FOREGROUND-SERVICE-DATA-SYNC
This permission enables the ARMOR app to synchronize data with ARMOR sensor nodes in the background. This ensures that sensor data is continuously updated, even when the app is minimized or running in the background.
– Only sensor data is synchronized. No personal data is transmitted or stored during this process.
Security
Since personal data can optionally be stored locally on the device and can be shared with anyone at the discretion of the user, Evalan cannot be held responsible for any use of data which is out with the agreed (or documented) terms of use and specified functionality.
