Transforming Inverters into Smart Inverters with IoT

Check out the List of Brands of Solar Inverters supported by BACE Plus, the solution for customers looking to monitor them with ease and flexibility.
Smart Inverters

EVALAN is continuously enhancing the value of its IoT solutions for the solar energy industry. This time by transforming commonly used inverters from different manufacturers into intelligent devices known as smart inverters.

Using the most powerful IoT Gateway in its BACE product line, EVALAN can connect a wide range of inverters to the cloud, thus providing them with advanced functionality including remote monitoring and management capabilities.

“We are thrilled to announce the expanded compatibility of BACE Plus with a range of inverters.” — Henk Schwietert, CEO of EVALAN

List of supported inverter brands

The following list shows the brands of solar inverters that BACE Plus supports:

  • Growatt
  • Fox Ess
  • DEYE
  • Huawei
  • SolarEdge
  • Fimer/ABB
  • Sungrow
  • Solis
  • Solax

The IoT technology

BACE Plus was created with connectivity in mind. In that sense, it can connect straight to your inverter via one of the several built-in IoT protocols (e.g., Modbus TCP or RTU) to extract key data from the device and send it to the BACE Cloud, where the information is processed, ordered, integrated, and served as an API endpoint or Webhook to any application or database you want.

In addition to its compatibility with a wide range of inverters, BACE Plus also offers several additional features and benefits. For example, it can be used to monitor the performance of all components connected to the same solar network in real time, thus providing users with valuable insights into how their energy system is performing.

As bi-directional communication is established, the device also offers remote control capabilities, enabling users to adjust the settings of their energy system from anywhere, at any time. This means that users can optimize their energy installation for maximum performance and efficiency, even when they are not on-site.

With its expanded compatibility and range of features, BACE Plus is quickly becoming the go-to solution for customers who want to have smart solar installations to monitor and control them with ease and flexibility.
